    Terrible service. My fault for trying to use them 3 separate times thinking there would be different results. Take your business somewhere else. I'll be trying Alaska Garage door and repair. I'll update post after I speak with them.

    Had garage door replaced as well as opener. Yes door took a while to get here and was damaged in transit so had to be reordered but none of that was Pioneer's fault in my opinion. Just the sign of the times what with worker and materials shortage. When it was time to do the work, the guys showed up on time, were efficient & got the work done in less time than anticipated and left the space they worked in better shape than when they arrived. They also took the time to explain the opener and answer any questions I had regarding the door or opener. I appreciated their time as well as Matt who I worked with to get the right door for my house. Thanks Pioneer.

    Had issues with garage door closing. Tech came out and looked around for no more than 15 mins. Said the motor was going bad and that we didnt have to pay anything because he didnt do anything but look around (no repairs or anything) Lady from their shop is requesting payment of $130 for a service call. Which nothing was fixed and the tech even stated there was no charge. My garage door is still having the issue of closing. Update: neighbor came to look at the door, he found the bracket was slightly off. He made adjustments and the door is working perfectly fine. Techs finding was inaccurate. Company is still seeking $130 payment.

    Little attention to detail and even less interest in their customers. They took my down payment and told me they'd get me scheduled soon. Three weeks later I called them wondering when I'd be scheduled. I was then scheduled on the spot as if I paid them that day. This delayed my install by over a month. They didn't take into consideration the unevenness of the cement floor and didn't bring the appropriate materials to complete the job without gaps between the door and the floor. There are multiple gaps between the door and the outdoors. The installers told me I could fix it myself in the summer with caulk. I spoke to a gentleman at the shop who summed up my my new door was better than my old door therefore the installation was fine and since the R value is pretty good that the gaps shouldn't matter. I was not going to leave a review until I received a missed call from the shop. I called back and the gentleman who answered dismissively told me that since I didn't know who called him he would have to speak to everyone in the shop including the warehouse to find out who called me. I didn't pay an insubstantial amount of money for this install. I think that due to their increased business this winter Pioneer door has forgotten how to conduct business professionally and courteously.

    We ordered a garage door to install at our cabin and as it is out of their installation area. we arranged for my daughter to pick it up and bring it to the cabin. The first day she came to pick it up they said we had never even ordered and paid for a door and she had to go back the next day again after I called and waited on hold to confirm we had indeed bought and paid for a door that she was to pick up. When she went back a second time she was given the wrong size door! When we discovered the mistake and called, we were disconnected multiple times and the sales person John was too busy to take our call so we spoke with Mike, his manager who said it was our fault that the wrong door was given and we would have to drive 4 hours back to Anchorage and then another 4 hours to the cabin as they would not compensate for the mistake at all. They said we should have been able to tell by the packaging that it was the wrong door. ( the only identifying markings was a sticker on the box which did not list the size of the door) Once we finally got the correct size door and installed it the printed directions we were given were not even for the door they gave us and very poorly written. Fortunately you-tube had better directions. We were also missing several nuts and bolts that should have come with the package and had to get more locally to finish installing the door. Very poor service and quality I would never use them again

    Over the past few years I've been experiencing my garage doors getting slowly but steadily louder with more rattles. Called Pioneer Door for a service appointment. Their tech Matt was on time, very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to hear my issues and diagnose the problems! I even got a tip on some grease I can apply myself to the rails in between service calls! I don't have any basis for comparison on price, but what I can say is that the experience, customer service, knowledge, and quieter doors was worth every single penny!!! Would recommend this company and Matt to anyone!!!

    Our garage door started acting up and they were on-site the next day. The repairman Matt was incredibly thorough and informative while he worked. Not only did he get our garage door up and running smoothly, but he looked at all aspects and hardware to make sure it was in the best possible condition. They weren't out here just to get a fix and hit the road, but to provide the best customer service and I will be going to them when it's time to replace our door in the future.
